Mat4Rail 4th General Assembly Meeting planned for February 2019

The 4th Mat4Rail General Assembly meeting will be held at our partner HUNTSMAN in Basel, Switzerland in February 2019.
The 2-day meeting will once again bring together representatives of all the 16 Mat4Rail partners to discuss project results, make decisions on how these should be best implemented and look forward to what the rest of the project will bring.

We look forward to these collaborative meetings which give us a detailed insight into all the partners work and outcomes and offer an active platform for discussions and decision making.

Mat4Rail participates in the Midterm event of the PIVOT project with contributions in 3 oral presentations and 3 posters

On October 18, the Midterm event of the PIVOT project, Performance Improvement for Vehicles On Track, was held at the Maison des Associations Internationales in Brussels. This event was organised by PIVOT in intense collaboration with the complementary projects (open calls) Mat4Rail, Run2Rail and Fair stations, to disseminate their results to date. All these projects are funded by the European platform Shift2Rail, within Horizon 2020 .

InnoTrans 2018 – The Future of Mobility

From 18 – 21 September 2018 Innotrans, one of the largest and most influential exhibitions within the rail industry and transport technology, will be opening its doors. The exhibition is sub-divided into the five trade fair segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 41 halls available at Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

3rd General Assembly planned for 26th-27th September 2018, Boras, Sweden

The 3rd General Assembly Meeting of the will be held in Boras, Sweden from the 26th-27th September 2018, at our partner RISE.
The whole Mat4Rail consortium will come together and over the span of two days discuss the results from the first year of the project and the plan for the second year. The different areas in the project will receive the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups their outcomes and what measures and activities are needed to effectively implement the results. Our meetings, activities and collaborations will ensure a successful Mat4Rail but also aim to strengthen and align our outcomes to the objectives set out by Shift2Rail.
